Biography

Gobinder Chopra MD is a highly qualified specialist certified by: The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Clinical Neurophysiology, and Brain Injury Medicine. He is also board-certified by the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners.

Dr. Chopra was passionate about medicine at a very early age. He entered the Pre-Medical Sciences program at a young age of 15 and soon after he earned his degree from Punjab University and entered Dayanand Medical College In 1984. Focused and determined, Dr. Chopra completed his degree in 1991 where he received his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).

After completing an internship in Internal Medicine at Kern Medical Center UCLA, Bakersfield, California; Dr. Chopra began his neurology residency at the UCLA Los Angeles Veterans Administration Medical Center. Soon after, he was accepted at Stanford University to do his fellowship training in Clinical Neurophysiology and Intra-Operative Neurological Monitoring.

Dr. Chopra moved to Las Vegas to fill the void of patient care in Neurology where he started a successful practice helping hundreds of patients across the valley. He is actively involved in the community and has several professional affiliations including: American Academy of Neurology, Clark County Medical Society, AANEM and Nevada State Medical Association.
